Despite weather forecast, UWL will be open Tuesday, April 3.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the La Crosse area early Tuesday, April 3, into Wednesday morning. The forecast calls for 6-10” of snow and ice, with the worst conditions developing after 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Despite these weather conditions, UW-La Crosse will be open Tuesday, April 3. Please use your best judgment in making a decision on whether traveling to campus if there are hazardous road conditions.
Students should work with their instructors to make any alternative plans to regularly scheduled coursework.
Employees should contact their supervisor with any specific concerns. Employees should refer to the UW System Inclement Weather Policy regarding any changes to a regular work schedule.
Anyone who does travel to campus should use extreme caution and watch for hazardous road conditions.
