'College Goal Wisconsin' to help prospective students apply for financial aid

“College Goal Wisconsin,” a financial aid help session, begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in 102 Wing Technology Center.

[caption id="attachment_30749" align="alignright" width="166"]Program logo. “College Goal Wisconsin,” a financial aid help session, begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in 102 Wing Technology Center.[/caption] UW-La Crosse will host an event to help future college students and their families apply for financial aid to make post-high school education more affordable. “College Goal Wisconsin” will help future students and families through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application. It will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in 102 Wing Technology Center. Those who work in high schools and colleges will be available to give tips on how to apply for other financial aid as well. In addition to financial aid assistance, attendees will have a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. More than $20,000 in scholarships will be given away.
