Alumni & Friends Golf Outing set for Aug. 9
Golfers and non-golfers alike have a chance to hit the links in support of the newly established UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation.
The 34th annual UWL Alumni & Friends Golf Outing is set for Wednesday, Aug. 9, at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek, 2600 Cedar Creek Lane in Onalaska.
It will be a four-person, team-flighted scramble over 18 holes, with men’s and co-ed divisions. Lunch and registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. A shotgun start will follow at noon.
The cost to register is $150 per person ($175 after July 23). Registration includes lunch, use of the driving range and putting green, 18 holes of golf with a cart, hole events, and a special-edition UWL polo shirt. Tickets for the games and raffle package are $40, which include two hole games (hit the circle and dry golf), a 50/50 raffle and a basket raffle.
All proceeds raised during the event will support the unique initiatives of the UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation. The Foundation works to keep “The La Crosse Experience” alive through fundraising, honoring distinguished alumni, and hosting networking and social events for UWL alumni and friends.
