“Erasure,” coordinated by guest curator Roger Boulay, will feature works in a variety of media — photography, painting, mixed media and video. The works focus on the act of removal or erasure as process. The premise for the exhibit is the iconic erased drawing of Willem DeKonig by Robert Rauschenberg.
Artist Hunter Lewis will be on campus to talk about his work in the exhibition and answer questions at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in the University Art Gallery, Center for the Arts. Curator Roger Boulay will join Lewis to discuss the selection of works in the show and some of its broader historical and contemporary connections.
