“Broke,” part of ESPN’s 30 for 30 digital documentary film series, will be shown 7 p.m. Friday, April 24, in Graff Main Hall Auditorium.
“Broke,” directed by Billy Corben, investigates the psychology of pro-male athletes whose competitive nature carried them to victory on the field, but seemed to ruin them off the field. Many pro athletes are shocked by harsh economic realities after years of living the high life and end up bankrupt.
