The spring semester is in full swing, with plenty of ways to stay busy inside and outside the classroom. Take a look at some of our favorite photos from February at UWL.

Graduate students from Professor Barrett Klein's biology lab visited Red Balloon Early Learning Center to give the children an introduction to insects.

The children learned about insect biology, created their own bugs from Play-Doh and even had the chance to pet a hissing cockroach.

Bob Allen, director of the UWL Planetarium, teaches local students about the night sky.
Allen regularly hosts schools and other community groups interested in learning more about astronomy.

During the Take an Eagle to Breakfast event, students had an opportunity to network with alumni and other local business leaders. The event, hosted by the Silver Eagles alumni group, often leads to internship or career opportunities.
