When Alumna Tammy Zee found out UW-La Crosse classes were moving online for the remainder of the spring semester, the UWL Recreational Sports instructor of 33 years found a way to stay connected to her fitness class. Zee captures video of herself in her living room or garage doing yoga, meditation, cardio and a variety of other fitness routines, and broadcasts them live on Facebook. During the sessions, occasionally a dog will bark or the doorbell will ring, but that’s the norm for everyone in the world of telework and school, she explains.
