Four UW-La Crosse choirs will give their annual first choral concerts of the school year during two performances Saturday, Oct. 20. One of the concerts will feature alumni returning to sing with their former ensemble.

Alumni to return for a special 20th anniversary celebration of Concert Choir
Four UW-La Crosse choirs will give their annual first choral concerts of the school year during two performances Saturday, Oct. 20. One of the concerts will feature alumni returning to sing with their former ensemble.
The Women’s Chorus and the Chamber Choir will perform a concert of diverse and varied repertoire at 2 p.m. in Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts. Admission is free. Women’s Chorus is conducted by Kathryn Moran; Chamber Choir is conducted by Terence Kelly.
Männerchor, UW-L’s male chorus, and the Concert Choir will perform at 4 p.m. in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. The performance is free.
The concert will feature special selections for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Concert Choir. Members from previous choirs will return to form an Alumni Choir that will sing three selections, along with performing with the current choir.
Music Professor Gary Walth, director of Choral Studies, conducts both Männerchor and Concert Choir.
