- Place recyclables, garbage and trash in proper containers. Put garbage in garbage cans and recyclables in recycle bins or in clear plastic bags so that garbage collectors can see that it is recyclables not trash.
- Recycle as much as possible and give your unwanted goods to those in need.
- If you live on an alley, place garbage or large items — up to four per week — in the alley, not on the curb. Normal pick up is in the alley for rental properties with alleys. For those without alleys , place garbage or large items — up to four per week — on the curb.
