Join the Eagles for the Pack the Vet for the Vets event on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. UW-L Football takes on UW-Eau Claire with kickoff slated for 11:30 a.m.  Game day will feature a number of exciting Veteran events.  The day begins with a tailgate from 8:30-11:30 a.m. including booths and interactive activities with the National Guard, UW-L Army ROTC, UW-L Student Veterans Association, Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs, Wisconsin Veterans Museum and Freedom Honor Flight. Pre-game activities will feature a special video recognition of veterans including UW-L alumni football player Jason Church, a presentation of the flag by the ROTC Color Guard, an aerial flyover, moment of silence in remembrance of those who have fallen, live playing of Echo Taps, three-volley firearms salute,  and veteran presentation of the game ball from a Humvee. Halftime will highlight special veteran honors and recognition of all service members in attendance, as well as a patriotic salute by the Screaming Eagles Marching Band.
