Comedy movie to address financial choices

UW-La Crosse’s It Makes Cents! program and Campus Activities Board are collaborating to provide financial entertainment at UW-La Crosse’s Free Movie Friday with “The Joneses.” The film will be shown at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in the Movie Theatre in the UWL Student Union. “The Joneses” is a movie that portrays a team of stealth marketers that disguises themselves as the perfect family recently moved into the suburbs. They encourage their neighbors to spend lots of money. The movie addresses financial choices. Admission is free. The performance is part of the university’s Campus Activities Board and is co-sponsored by It Makes Cents.
