NCUR promotes undergraduate research scholarship and creative activity while collaborating with faculty and mentors to supplement higher education. More than 300 universities are invited to participate in this year’s programs. UW-L staff will select student submissions and create the program for the event.
Conference officials look for bright, motivated and talented students from many disciplines, such as biology, business — including accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing — chemistry, communication studies, computer science, engineering, geography, humanities — including history, literature, and visual and performing arts — mathematics, physics, political science, psychology and sociology.
The first step in the process of sharing research at NCUR is abstract submission. Undergraduate students must complete the required guidelines listed on the CUR website at https://www.cur.org/ncur_2013/account/. The deadline for applications and abstracts is Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012.
