Fall, family and philanthropy. And just like that, we're halfway through the semester. Take a look at some of our favorite photos from October at UWL.

Students from the UWL Foundry Club pour hot metal into green sand molds consisting of sand, bentonite and a small amount of water. The green sand is compacted around an object the artist wishes to cast. Once the object is removed, its negative 3D impression is left behind.

Professor of Health Professions Tom Kernozek (pointing) and Nate Vannatta working in the La Crosse Institute for Movement Science at UWL. Vannatta, a former student of Kernozek's now turned colleague, is the associate program director for the Sports Physical Therapy Residency department at Gundersen Health System.
