Presenter to share insight on Tourette’s syndrome at UW-L

Internationally known speaker Marc Elliot will describe a childhood of struggle growing up as a kid diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome.

[/caption] Internationally known speaker Marc Elliot will describe a childhood of struggle growing up as a kid diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome. Elliot will speak on “What Makes You Tic?” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Tourette’s syndrome is a condition in which a person has involuntary outbursts or movements known as tics. Tickets before the day of the presentation are free to UW-L students and $5 for others. Ticket prices increase $2 on the day of the event. For more information, contact Cartwright Information Counter at 785.8898. The event is part of the university’s Campus Activities Board Series.
