Rain locations for all-campus scream and other finals week events

Several outdoor events are scheduled for Monday, May 11. All are free and open to all members of the UW-L campus community.

Several outdoor events are scheduled for Monday, May 11. All are free and open to all members of the UW-L campus community. The events with their rain locations are:
  • Emily Lyons Remembrance and Organ Donation Awareness from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Hoeschler Tower. The event opens in the Lindner Forest Gazebo at 11 a.m. with Chancellor Gow, Vice Chancellor Paula Knutson and Emily's family and friends. Rain location is 1300 Centennial Hall with the opening at the gazebo rain or shine.
  • All-Campus Finals Scream, for students, faculty and staff to relieve stress and celebrate the year's accomplishments. The event is from noon-12:15 p.m. at the Hoeschler Tower. The scream begins at 12:05, led by Chancellor Gow. People who cannot attend the scream in person are encouraged to film, take a photo, or use social media to record their scream — wherever they may be — and post it at the Facebook page or use the hashtag #UWLFinalsSCREAM. Rain location is Cartwright cafeteria.
  • Yoga on Wittich Lawn from 12:30-1:15 p.m, behind the farmer's market. All experience levels are welcome. Participants should bring a mat, towel or blanket. Rain location is the Ward Room, Cartwright Center.
