Open house for expansion set for Monday, Oct. 1

Rec Sports is celebrating the opening of the REC expansion project. Along with a short ribbon cutting and tours of the facility, Rec Sports staff will show how the campus can take advantage of all the new space and equipment. Staff will provide free exercise demos, small group workouts and give away prizes to faculty and staff. Prizes include: • one annual REC membership • one fitness consultation with our fitness coordinator • one semester of unlimited group fitness classes • one semester of access to the small group workouts (LaXFit). The grand opening takes place at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, in 130 Recreational Eagle Center. All are welcome.
