UWL semiannual exhibition runs Dec. 2-14

Five graduating UWL seniors showcase their artwork that details the complexity of human psyche and allows for expression when words fail. Allison Johnson uses printmaking to explore how life is a constant flux or growth and change.[/caption] The semiannual senior exhibition, “Pneuma: n(y)o?om?: the vital spirit, soul, or creative force of a person,” opens Friday, Dec. 2, with a reception from 4-6 p.m. in the University Art Gallery on the first floor of the Center for the Arts, 16th and Vine streets. The exhibit runs through Wednesday, Dec. 14. Margret Brown, Casey Liston, Alyssa Hansen, Allison Johnson, and Nhouchee Yang are the five graduating seniors featured in the senior exhibition. The semi-annual senior exhibition focuses on a variety of media, such as printmaking, painting, sculpture, photography, blacksmithing, and metalsmithing. Tan? Hocira (Three Rivers House). Regular gallery hours are noon-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays; noon- 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; by appointment; and during events in the Toland Theater.
