UWL graduating art seniors share work in exhibition

UW-La Crosse art majors graduating in May will share their work one last time on campus in the university’s art gallery.
“The Fool’s Journey” senior art exhibition will run in the University Art Gallery Friday, April 28-Sunday, May 14. An opening reception with the artists runs from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 28, in the gallery.
The University Art Gallery, located in the Lowe Center for the Arts, 333 N. 16th St., is open from 1-8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 1-5 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.
The seniors exhibiting include:
- T. Mentjes, Pine Island, Minnesota
- Cate Gamble, Delavan, Wisconsin
- Ryan Rateike, Waukesha, Wisconsin
- Joshua Wolfe, Waukesha, Wisconsin
- Mattie Blanck, Gurnee, Illinois
- Ezra Soderlund, Superior, Wisconsin
- Madison Vaillant, Rosemount, Minnesota
- Elizabeth Schams, Stewartville, Minnesota
The seniors exhibiting will also give “Talks with the artists” in presentations from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, and Thursday, May 4, in the University Art Gallery.
Admission to all gallery events is free.
