Spoken word artist to perform at UW-L

Spoken word artist Kyla Lacey will perform at UW-L Feb. 10.

She will recite thought-provoking and uplifting poetry at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Lacey was named poet of the year by a national college programming organization, voted Best Female Artist by Campus Activities Magazine, and was a finalist in the largest regional poetry slam in 2012.
