The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families has identified the UW-L Campus Child Center as providing “excellent care for children.”
The campus center and the Head Start Child and Family Development Centers were the only two La Crosse child centers making the inaugural online list of YoungStar providers. Centers on the list have met rigorous accreditation standards that require on-site observations, quality improvement planning and establish higher education levels for teachers and program directors.
