A top military trumpet player will join a UW-La Crosse trumpet professor for a recital.

A top military trumpet player will join a UW-La Crosse trumpet professor for a recital.
Gunnery Sgt. Michael Mergen and Professor Thomas Seddon will give a trumpet recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, in Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts.
Mergen is a member of the “President’s Own” U.S. Marine band. Along with teaching trumpet and other music courses at UW-L, Seddon directs a number of university ensembles.
The program will include works by Arutunian, Grye and Handel. UW-L Piano Professor Mary Tollefson will also perform.
The recital is free and open to the public.
