An ice cream social is a sweet start to the school year. The Move-In Day Ice Cream Social will be from 11-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, on Badger St. in front of Wimberly Hall.

UW-L Alumni along with members of the Student Alumni Ambassador organization will be handing out free water and ice cream to students and their families who are moving in to the residence halls that day. This event is sponsored by the UW-L Residence Life Alumni group and the Student Alumni Ambassadors. Check out pictures of the Move-In Day Ice Cream Social. UW-L’s legacy breakfast The Student Alumni Ambassador organization is hosting a special legacy breakfast during Family, Friends & Alumni weekend, Saturday, Oct., 15, at Port O’Call, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Any student or alum with an immediate family member (mother, father, sister, brother, grandparent or child) who attended or is attending UW-L is considered a legacy. All legacies are invited to this event to meet other legacies and celebrate this special connection to UW-L. Enjoy a light breakfast and hear from current students and university representatives. Everyone who attends will receive a gift from the Ambassadors.
