UW-L Chamber Ensemble sets Sunday afternoon concert

The Chamber Players will hold a special summer concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, in Annett Recital Hall.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Chamber Players will hold a special summer concert. The concert begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, in Annett Recital Hall in the Center for the Arts, 16th and Vine streets. The ensemble, along with community musicians, will perform a program of chamber music. The selections include: Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Octet Op. 103,” “Six Romances After Mendelssohn for Ten Wind Instruments” by Stephen Michael Gryc, and Antonin Dvorak’s “Serenade in D minor, Op. 44.” The Chamber Players is directed by Thomas Seddon. Admission is free, but those attending are encouraged to bring a canned food item to support local food banks.
