UW–L graduating seniors to present 'All American Art Recession'

Sixteen seniors will open their exhibition “All American Art Recession” with a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, in the University Art Gallery, Center for the Arts.

Artwork by artists. Exhibition runs April 19-May 10

After years of education, hard work, passion and dedication, the spring class of graduating art students at UW-La Crosse is ready to exhibit its recent work. The 16 seniors will open their exhibition “All American Art Recession” with a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, in the University Art Gallery on the first floor of the Center for the Arts. Admission is free; food, refreshments and a cash bar will be provided. The graduating seniors exhibiting include: Ben Alberti, Rachel Albrecht, Elizabeth Bowman, Kira Crook, Jim Dunn, Max Hautala, Clinton Grabhorn, Kinden Kraeger, Jacquelline Olson, Nicole Prigan, Chelsea Puetz, Kristine Radcliffe, Rachel Schnell, Dave Sikorski, Gregory Stanton, and Katy Wittenberg. Their artwork features the most modern of media, including 2-D and 3-D works, as well as video. Regular gallery hours are noon-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, noon-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and during events in Toland Theatre. Admission is free.
