UW-L to offer Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region

A morning meeting on core 7 Rivers Region economic indicators is set for Thursday, May 9, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Registration is required by May 3.

La Crosse’s new mayor to participate

The newly-elected mayor of La Crosse will take part in a business forum at UW-La Crosse. Tim Kabat, a former planning and development administrator and executive director of Downtown Mainstreet Inc., will join UW-L Associate Professor of Economics TJ Brooks for a morning meeting on core 7 Rivers Region economic indicators. The forum will offer insights on leveraging regional resources to enhance economic competitiveness and workforce attraction. “Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region” is a regional business forum coordinated in part by the UW-L Small Business Development Center. The event is set for Thursday, May 9, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. with the program running from 7:20 until 9.
