Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region is a regional business forum coordinated in part by the UW-L Small Business Development Center. A semi-annual breakfast meeting provides a general update on core economic indicators based on ongoing research regarding economic trends in a nine-county region in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. Meetings provide area decision makers with valuable tools for strategic planning and a basis to compare regions and measure progress. State Bank Financial sponsors this research project in collaboration with the UW-L College of Business Administration and The La Crosse Tribune.
