Five Latin American films will be screened during the fourth annual Latin American Film Festival.
Five Latin American films will be screened during the fourth annual Latin American Film Festival, April 10-14, in the Brian and Lori Hesprich Auditorium, Graff Main Hall.
The thought-provoking films will shine a light on social and economic justice in Latin America, says Omar Granados, director of UWL’s Institute for Latin American and Latino/a Studies. Each film will include discussions led by UWL faculty and staff. The event is free and open to the public.
The festival, sponsored by UWL’s Institute for Latin American Studies (ILAS), is funded in part by UWL’s College of Liberal Studies Office of the Dean and a Pragda Film Institute grant.
