Concert at Viterbo Sunday, Nov. 19

The UW-La Crosse Wind Ensemble will premier a piece during its annual fall concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19. The concert will be held at the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center, 929 Jackson St. The wind ensemble, led by conductor Associate Professor Tom Seddon, will feature the premiere performance of “Lights and Smoke” by Rachel Elizabeth Matthews. The ensemble will also perform variations on “America” by Charles Ives; “This Cruel Moon” by John Mackey; “Sketches on a Tudor Psalm” by Fisher Tull; “Beyond the Walls and the Water” by Stuart Folse; and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Linden Lea.” The concert is free and open to the public.
