The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Wind Ensemble will perform a concert of holiday music at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, in Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts, 333 N. Third St. The Wind Ensemble, conducted by UWL Music Department Faculty Member Thomas Seddon, will perform the popular “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson, along with many other popular holiday favorites and a special guest who will share information about the night before the main event. Families are welcome. https://youtu.be/SOXhYO-JUB0 Proceeds from the concert typically fund scholarships and general ensemble operation costs, however, this year the money will support the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. Admission is a suggested $5 for UWL students, children 10 and under, and senior citizens; and $10 for others.
