Dive into the history hidden beneath the waves with Wisconsin Historical Society's maritime archaeologist. Tamara Thomsen will explore Wisconsin's Great Lakes shipwrecks through underwater video, historic photographs and archaeological discoveries during a free public lecture Thursday, Nov. 2, at 3310 Student Union. A social begins 6:30 p.m., an award ceremony at 7 p.m. and lecture at 7:30 p.m. Learn how the Wisconsin Historical Society documents these time capsules of the maritime past.
