The following guidelines still apply when planning events:
Place orders on the CaterTrax program.
Food approvals need to be processed as part of the catering order. This is a university policy and ensures the dining contractor is paid.
The dining contract continues to be an exclusive contract. Outside food is not permitted on campus for group gatherings. The Self-Catering Policy, permitting $100 in snack foods, is available to all campus organizations. All self-caterings will be approved by University Reservations.
Changes for the fall semester will include returning a salad bar to the Galley. Menus items for the Cellar will return to those previously offered in the Cellar under the Chartwells dining program. The Whitney Center main dining room will be an all-access dining room. Students will not be limited to a number of meals that can be eaten there.
