Brief biography

After Graduating from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2018, I began my career at Tomah Health in Tomah, WI. As a rural critical access hospital, I was a generalist in orthopedic and neurological care with a special interest in vestibular care and the geriatric population. I also enjoyed working with high school athletes. I craved a bit more of a spontaneous schedule and more acute injury and illness and transitioned to becoming to the Hospital and Emergency Department Physical Therapist. Additionally, worked very closely with the orthopedic surgeons to complete the acute phase of rehabilitation with total knee and hip patients, seeing an average of 3-6 surgical patients per week.

In each of these positions, I enjoyed taking students as a clinical instructor for UWL students as a way to give back to our profession.
