Brief biography

Gabriel Antúnez de Mayolo Kou have a Ph.D in Hispanic Studies with a certificate in Latin American Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. His research explores youth and countercultural productions in the Andes long sixties, including poetry, rock culture, and psychedelic cumbia. In addition, he has worked as a mentored subject librarian in the Washington University Library System and is currently a recipient of the MLA Bibliography Fellowship from 2024 to 2027.
