Courses must be dropped on or before the deadline to drop a course. These academic deadlines are not to be confused with refund deadlines which are separate and are done by the Cashier's office.
The deadlines to drop regular full term, 7-week semester, 3-week winter, and 4-week summer courses are listed above. The deadlines can also be found on your WINGS Student Center. The deadlines for uniquely dated courses are only found on your WINGS Student Center.

Drop/add calendar (Spring)
After the add/drop without permission periods end, you need permission to add or drop a course. Permission to add or drop can be given electronically in WINGS. Instructors or departments can give the permission to add. Instructors or advisors can give the permission to drop. After permission is given, you must finish the add or drop process by logging back into WINGS and adding or dropping the course. Please note that the deadline to add with permission is not the same as the deadline to drop with permission.
If done on paper, blank add/drop forms can be picked up from the Records and Registration Office at 117 Graff Main Hall. Completed forms must be returned to that office.
Drop dates on this calendar MAY NOT MATCH the tuition refund dates. See the Cashier's Office for information regarding payment and refund deadlines.

Other dates: Drop/Add dates for other class formats/lengths can be found in WINGS, or by contacting Records and Registration. Examples of these "other" courses may include ESS courses that are only one weekend long, or courses that are shorter than the traditional 7-week half-semester course. Tuition refund dates for Spring
Refund dates are set up separately from the academic drop deadlines and may not be the same. Review both dates when deciding whether to drop.

The refund dates for class that are shorter or longer than the normal semester or 7-week sessions are different than the above.
