Better Business Bureau  - Access to business and consumer alerts as well as helpful resources on a variety of different topics.

Business Services  - Wisconsin's website for links to state agencies, resources, programs and other helpful information.

IdeaCafe  - Basic business resources and updates for small business owners.

Internal Revenue Service  - Federal tax information as well as extensive business management regulation.

La Crosse Public Library  - Books and publications in La Crosse Public Library's card catalog.

Murphy Library Research  - UW-La Crosse's Library site provides access to many databases for journal articles and publications.

Office of Women's Business Ownership (OWBO)  - As part of the Small Business Association (SBA), the Office of Women's Business Ownership (OWBO) assists women achieve their dreams and improve their communities by helping them start and run successful businesses, regardless of social or financial disadvantage, race, ethnicity, or business background. OWBO and the Women's Business Center Program are integral components of Entrepreneurial Development's network of training and counseling services.

Small Business Administration (SBA) Online  - A wealth of information for  starting  and managing your business.  For online classes, check out the Learning Center.

ThomasNet.com  - Register of American manufacturers - the Internet's largest industrial buying and specification guide to find suppliers.

U.S. Department of Labor  - Valuable information on consumer spending, inflation (includes an inflation calculator) and many other topics.

U.S. Patent and Trademark Office  - Offers searchable indexes on patents, legal material, patent resources, trademark and copyright issues and much more.

University of Wisconsin Office of Business Engagement - Offers selected resources for business and industry at University Wisconsin System campuses.

Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI)  - For Wisconsin companies interested in supplying their products and/or services to federal, state, local agencies and prime contractors; also services for grant writing and other sources of funding and government contracting opportunities.

Wisconsin, State of  - Information about Wisconsin agencies, business forms, business incentives, on-line business services, building your own business, doing business with the state.

Wisconsin SBDC - No-cost individual counseling services and statewide educational courses in a variety of management disciplines.  Current or prospective business owners can explore areas such as: cash flow management, business planning, minority business, cost control, marketing and sales, and much more.

Wisconsin SBDC at UW-La Crosse - Small business resources including advising opportunities, information resources, business outreach programs and local economic data.
