The Safe Ride bus offers a safe ride between downtown and campus on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. There are stops on and off campus, around town and downtown, which are marked with a maroon and silver Safe Ride bus sign.
The Safe Ride bus circulates through the route every 15 minutes! UWL Students, friends, and the general public ride free on the Safe Ride bus. No student ID's are required.
Safe Ride will begin at 10:30 p.m. on all evenings of service.
Fall Semester 2024
Safe Ride starts on Saturday, August 31, 2024 and ends on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Safe Ride service on New Years Eve from 10:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
No Safe Ride during Thanksgiving Break - November 28, 29, and 30, 2024.
Spring Semester 2025
Safe Ride starts on Saturday, January 25, 2025 and ends on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
No Safe Ride during Spring Break – Saturday, March 15 – Friday, March 21, 2025.
No Safe Ride the Saturday before Easter – April 19, 2025.
Service every 15 minutes
