Welcome to Dining Services

UWL Dining Services offers an assortment of different dining locations to meet the variety of needs and desires of the campus community. Both University Centers and Chartwells are excited about what we have to offer to the campus community.

The dining plans provide exceptional value for both residential and off campus members of the University community. Not only does the dining plan program provide you with a wide variety of fresh meals to choose from all day long, but they offer the convenience of no clean up or shopping for food.

Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

UWL will ensure a safe and delicious dining experience if you have food allergies or medical conditions that require specific diets. We know dining is such an important part of campus life, and we want all students to have a successful dining experience. Our dining team is certified annually in Allergy Training.

Process for students with food allergies and dietary restrictions:

  1. Complete the Food Allergy and Dietary Needs Self-Declaration Form here.
  2. Register with the ACCESS Center.
  3. Meet with our Registered Dietitian, Jess Harke, to determine a plan of action to support you while you are dining on campus.

More resources:

  1. Review our Wellness Guide here, especially the list of responsibilities for students and our team.
  2. Ask an Ingredient Expert. We have certified and designated Ingredient Experts in our dining locations. Let a team member know if you have a food allergy or other specific dining need. Our culinarians and ingredient experts at each location are happy to review recipes and ingredients to help you make dining decisions based on your needs.
  3. Utilize our What's on the Menu page to check out the menu items offered at each location. Nutrition and ingredient information is available for your review.
  4. Questions or concerns? Our Associate Director for Business and Dining Operations is here to help you. Email Lizzy at lhaywood@uwlax.edu
