Welcome to the UW-La Crosse University Staff Council!
ABOUT USC:
Created in November 2009, the UW-La Crosse University Staff Council (USC) endeavors to promote ongoing education, professional development activities, and communication between all classified employees and the broader University community. On July 1, 2015 the University Staff Council changed its name from the Classified Staff Council. The Council will promote a positive professional environment for all University Staff employees (represented, non-represented, limited term, and project appointments) based on equality, respect, and a spirit of collegiality between members of the University community, including faculty, staff, and students. The Council members will serve as advisors to the Chancellor and other University administrators.
The Council now consists of 11, 13 prior to July 1 2024, elected members and meets the second Tuesday of every month at 2:00 p.m. in 325 Graff Main Hall. ****PLEASE JOIN US 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO OUR MEETING FOR NETWORKING! See you at 1:45 p.m.****
Meetings are open to all university personnel, and we invite you to share ideas, comments, and concerns with the Council. The Chancellor has allowed release time for University Staff to attend the meetings.
We encourage all University Staff to come to any meeting and find out what's going on or share your opinions.
