Read more about New College of Liberal Studies dean Patty Loew earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from UWL in 1974 and earned a master’s and doctorate from UW-Madison. She is a highly-regarded filmmaker, journalist, educator and award-winning author who most recently received the state’s MLK Heritage Award.
