The WIAA Track Meet 2012 will held at UW-L Friday and Saturday, June 1 and 2. Traffic direction and control by University Police will start at 6 a.m. each day.
· For Friday and Saturday Badger Street (Farwell Street to Oakland) will be one-way traffic going west only. MTU buses will not run on campus and high school bus units will be parked on both sides of Badger Street. Expect Badger Street to be very congested with traffic and pedestrians. To avoid long delays, drivers who need to access a building off Badger Street should enter campus via La Crosse Street and East Avenue and check in with an officer.
· There will be three entry points for vehicles into campus:
East Avenue /La Crosse Street–Pine Street/ Campbell Road – and the Recreational Eagle Center parking lot off La Crosse Street. All other streets and alleyways will be blocked off.
· UW-L faculty and staff may want to avoid driving to campus. Those who plan to drive can park in any lot without paying at the entry point but must have a valid UW-L permit. Faculty and staff's normal parking lots may not be available.
· Traffic on La Crosse Street, Highway 16 and West Avenue will be very congested most of both days. Plan on delays. Routine traffic should avoid these areas as much as possible.
