Three UW-L women will receive YWCA Tribute to Outstanding Women awards at a banquet from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, in the La Crosse Center South Hall Ballroom. The YWCA Tribute recognizes and honors women from the Seven Rivers Region who have demonstrated qualities of outstanding leadership and excellence in their professional and personal endeavors in accordance with the mission of the YWCA. The UW-L women being honored are:

• Lynette Prieur Lo, Student Support Services – Activist
• Keely Rees, Health Education – Health
• Krista Shulka, Department of Theatre Arts – Arts Administration

Other nominees from UW-La Crosse include Jaralee Richter for social justice, Deb Hoskins for education and Mia Stickelmaier for Young Woman of Tomorrow-College.
