Sherwin Toribio, Mathematics & Statistics

Started at UWL: 2006

Courses: Department of Mathematics and Statistics. I mostly teach statistics courses, but I do teach calculus occasionally.

Background: Before coming to UWL, I was working on my Ph.D. in statistics at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. While doing my Ph.D., I was also teaching statistics at BGSU. Prior to that, I was a statistics and mathematics instructor at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.

Favorite part of teaching: My favorite part of teaching is seeing my students grow as they develop new skills and gain new knowledge from my class. I love it when I see students mature and turn into responsible adults.
