Required compliance training programs.
Annually, employees are required to participate in training focusing on Data and Information Security, Mandatory Reporting, FERPA, and every three years for Sexual Harassment (Title IX). Beginning on September 21, 2020, employees who will be required to take these trainings will begin to receive emails from UW Shared Services, (rather than UWL), who will now be administering the compliance training programs.
This training will be administered based on the date of the employee's last completed training. For example, if you completed the Data and Information Security training last year in November, you will not receive an email until November 2020 to undergo the training.
