UW-L Hoeschler Tower to be lit blue

UW-L Hoeschler Tower to be lit blue and 5K fun run/walk fundraiser planned to raise awareness for Autism Speaks.

UW-L's Hoeschler Tower will be lit blue tonight at a "Light It Up Blue" event from 8-10 p.m. The event is being held to raise awareness for Autism Speaks and to announce the AmaXing Challenge. The AmaXing (pronounced "Amazing") Challenge "Step It Up" is a 5K fun run/walk fundraiser for Alpha Xi Delta's national philanthropy project, Autism Speaks. The 5K fun run/walk takes place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, and begins at Hoeschler Tower. To sign up online or to donate, go to http://www.wix.com/axidamaxingchallenge/5k.
