CLS to honor faculty, staff and students Thursday, April 18.

Excellence recognition is April 18

The College of Liberal Studies will honor top students, faculty and staff during its annual “An Evening of Excellence” Thursday, April 18. A reception begins at 6 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Lobby, followed by an awards ceremony at 6:45 in Toland Theatre. Entertainment will be provided by the Departments of Music and Theatre Arts. All are welcome to support friends and colleagues being honored. Those being recognized include: Faculty Recognition of Excellence Award for Teaching • Casey Tobin, Psychology Faculty Recognition of Excellence Award for Research/Creative Endeavors • Mark Chavalas, History • Pat Turner, Communication Studies Faculty Recognition of Excellence Award for Service • Virginia Crank, English Faculty Inclusive Excellence Award • Beth Cherne, Theatre Arts Classified Staff Recognition of Excellence Award • Laurie Collison, Communication Studies Instructional Academic Staff Recognition of Excellence Award • Adam Putz, English John E.
