UW-L Provost Heidi Macpherson will provide an inside look of the life of a campus administrator on Twitter June 17-23.

UW-L Provost Heidi Macpherson will provide an inside look of the life of a campus administrator on Twitter Monday, June 17, through Sunday, June 23.
Macpherson will take over the UW System “@UWpowersMe” Twitter account to represent the campus in an ongoing Knowledge Powers Wisconsin social media campaign. Macpherson has served as the university’s Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs since July 2012.
In an effort to highlight the university’s contributions to the UW System, she will post tweets and photos highlighting her job and what makes UW-L special. Twitter users can follow her @UWpowersMe.
The @UWpowersMe Twitter account allows students, faculty, alumni and administrators an opportunity to take control for one week, telling their UW story as only they can. It is a component of the social media arm of “Knowledge Powers Wisconsin,” a campaign that highlights how the UW System powers economic growth in Wisconsin, improves the state’s competitive edge by leveraging human capital, and supports business and industry by strengthening local communities. The @UWpowersMe Twitter account kicked off in February.
