Posted 1:34 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010

Sept. 10 event targets employers looking for part-time and seasonal workers. Area college students looking for part-time and seasonal work could land a job at an upcoming job fair on campus. The Part-Time and Seasonal Job Fair for College Students runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. This fair aims to connect students looking for part-time and seasonal employment with on- and off-campus employers. A similar event is planned during the spring semester Feb. 16, 2011. That event will include employers from summer camps throughout the U.S. to help facilitate summer employment for students. The fair sponsored by UW-L's Career Services and Financial Aid offices is free and open to students from all area colleges. For more information, contact Career Services at 785.8514.
