You can impress a loved one with a voice that will soon be heard at Carnegie Hall.
The UWL Concert Choir is offering the chance to send a Singing Valentine to a loved one before or on Valentine's Day. The special songs are part of a fundraising effort for the choir’s concert in the famed New York City Hall on June 24.
You can schedule a quartet from the choir to sing a love song medley featuring excerpts from hit songs by Carole King and Elton John, and from “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Shrek.” The cost for a UWL Concert Choir Singing Valentine is $25 for an on-campus delivery and $30 for an off-campus presentation. A Singing Valentine also includes a Valentines Day card.
Singing Valentines can be scheduled on Sunday, Feb. 12; Monday, Feb. 13; and Valentines Day Tuesday, Feb. 14. Delivery times will be limited since choir members' academic commitments are their first priority.
