UW-L Archaeology Students Present Their Research
Approximately 20 Archaeological Studies Program students at UWL presented posters or gave oral presentations at the 2015 Celebration of Student Research and Creativity. Two students were captured in action. Sarah Schultz presented a poster "Illustrating the Past" that showed how archaeology and art work together in displaying the results of archaeology to the public. Jennifer Keute's poster looked at the fatty acids on Oneota ceramics to help determine the seasonality of use of ceramic vessels at two different sites-the Swennes site in Long Coulee and Pammel Creek site in La Crosse.
