Vocal jazz ensembles set concerts

The UWL Music Department will present its fall vocal jazz concerts in two separate events.

The UWL Music Department will present its fall vocal jazz concerts Sunday, Nov. 1. Both concerts will take place in Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts, 16th and Vine streets. Voices on Vine, led by new faculty member Janette Hanson, will perform at 4 p.m. The second concert features La Capella and The Collegiates, led by UWL Director of Choral Music Studies Gary Walth, at 8:30 p.m. All are auditioned choirs that have a repertoire featuring a cappella and rhythm section tunes.
